To be crystal clear - I'm the absolute last person to be against app developers and making a reasonable profit - I regularly purchase probably ~$500/year in paid apps, IAP's, etc. Now I'm noticing more and more features that are hidden behind different donation tiers, and to make matters even crazier splurging for something like a "large" donation ($60) doesn't even unlock the features marked as "medium" or "small" - you have to buy each of those individually too.Īnd last but certainly not least, the app eventually won't launch until you upgrade to a new version - so it's not like you can simply install an older version and just stick with it. Then it was "buy this premium subscription yearly to access features 'z'" and whadaya know, I did that too.again, it's a valuable tool and I get use out of it. I ultimately decided it was useful enough and I wanted to support its development so over time I ended up buying every pack. I started using it back when it was "buy this add-on pack for feature 'x'" and "buy this add-on pack for feature 'y'". I've always loved it and had good luck with it, but I'll confess that I have started to grow a little tired it's seemingly constant attempts to game more money out of customers who've already previously paid. and for years I've used and loved App Cloner. ![]() ![]() I've got a small handful of cloned apps that I regularly rely on to access different accounts without having to sign out & sign back in, etc.
